No joke, Uno the card game liked a picture I tagged them in of Lugglett "playing" Uno! One of the best things I ever did was create an Instagram for my dog, it has opened me up to a community, I didn't think I could get from a social media. I participate in group follows, contests, I work to engage with other peoples posts etc. the dog Mom community is crazy! See below for all the details!

Using all 30 hashtags but, making sure to keep it relevant. Doing research and seeing what other popular accounts use is VERY helpful!
Constant Posts
to attract more followers while retaining current followers. I pre-schedule posts using buffer. (I use Hootsuite for Life At Purdue.)
Tagging "tag for a feature" or general accounts, to hopefully be featured and get more followers, tagging companies related to the post (ex. Lug sitting on Ikea chair? Tag Ikea!) We weren't joking when we said Uno liked us after a tag
